The DBGA teaching program is divided into the four main subject areas relating to the different professions within the game industry: Game Design, Game Programming, Concept Art and 3D Game Art.

Each of these subjects is taught over a 12-month period with the aid of weekly thematic modules. Three or four lessons per week are programmed and classroom attendance is compulsory.

In the afternoons and on days when no lessons are scheduled, students participate in seminars, workshops, and laboratory activities where they gain practical experience and have the opportunity to work on their own projects.
